Overview
LOGIS offers its members a total GIS support solution with a staff of three GIS professionals and ESRI's ArcView, ArcInfo, ArcObjects, and ArcIMS GIS products.

  • ArcInfo & ArcView technical support through LOGIS.

  • Customized and shared application development for ArcInfo, ArcView, and Internet mapping.

  • Maintenance and/or construction of spatial data layers and features attributing.

  • LOGIS Wide Area Network (WAN) for exceptional on-line support, system administration and resource sharing.

  • Complete GIS administration by LOGIS staff.

  • A LOGIS user group comprised of other member cities with similar needs and expectations.

  • Potential for volume purchases on GIS products & services.

Most members who participate in our GIS support service purchase ArcView and rely on LOGIS for spatial data maintenance, application development, software support, training and GIS administration.

GIS Facility
LOGIS maintains a GIS facility with Windows NT workstations and servers running the latest versions of ArcInfo, ArcView, ArcObjects, and ArcIMS.  The facility also includes a large format color inkjet plotter and several small format color and b/w printers.

LOGIS currently has as staff of four GIS specialists to assist with support issues ranging from help desk to application development.
