HR/Payroll Application Support Analyst

Position Summary:

Responsibilities:

The HR/Payroll Application Support Analyst provides a unique blend of applications analyst and customer service representative. This position performs client-focused analysis, diagnostics, development, testing and documentation of the JD Edwards Enterprise One Workforce Management HR/Payroll application. This position provides effective customer service by establishing productive relationships with the twenty-five members of the consortium including assistance with error messages, processing/reporting issues, and determining current/future software needs.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a high sense of urgency, have the ability to blend independent analysis with client-focused team discussion, be a self-motivator and have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in Information Technology, Accounting, or related field
  • 2+ years large ERP systems (preferably JDE Enterprise One)
  • 2+ years Payroll Processing experience
  • Knowledge of Benefits helpful
  • Experience with software testing, documentation and/or report writing experience a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Project management skills are desired

Application Support: Public Safety

Position Summary:

LOGIS is a governmental organization providing business applications and managed services to government units. Our mission is to facilitate and provide leading edge and adaptable technical solutions to our users.

LOGIS is seeking a Support Analyst who will specialize in supporting Law Records Management (LRMS) software. The Support Analyst will provide support to the users of LOGIS applications on a daily basis. This assistance includes functioning as a source of information, providing guidance and instruction in the use of all aspects of the LOGIS TriTech Records Management and Field-Based Reporting System; and performing problem-solving tasks as required by the users. Support may be over the telephone, at a client site, within a user group meeting, or as part of LOGIS training. This position will work closely with public safety professionals, vendors and LOGIS support and development personnel.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are a BA or BS degree, preferably in Information Technology or related field (AA/Technical College with equivalent work experience acceptable), ability to work well with people, team player, and understanding of databases.

Preferred qualifications are experience working with the public safety community and familiarity with business practices of police and/or fire departments and experience working in an application support environment. Knowledge of the TriTech Public Safety applications is a plus.

Hiring range is $67,000 -$72,000 D.O.Q. Supervisor of Systems Group

Position Summary:

LOGIS is a service provider of business applications and managed services for networks and data centers. Our mission is to facilitate and provide leading edge and adaptable technical solutions to our customers. We are currently seeking a Supervisor of the Systems Group to join our talented team of network professionals.

The Supervisor of the Systems Group position is responsible for leading our Systems Analysts in the design, support, and management of the LOGIS systems and supporting infrastructure (SANs, load balancers, etc.) which support our hosted business applications and managed services.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position includes staff supervision, project management, design, implementations, upgrades, troubleshooting, documentation, management of the Windows/Linux servers, SQL databases, Citrix, VMWare, SharePoint, and Compellent SANs. Individual must perform root cause analysis and perform complex troubleshooting across all technologies.

Job Requirements:

Individuals must have strong documentation skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and provide excellent customer service.

Experience:

4+ years related experience managing large networks supporting virtual environments utilizing Windows and Linux operating systems.


Education:

BS in IT or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experiences.

Application Support Analyst: Utility Billing

Position Summary:

LOGIS is a local government consortium that provides applications, information systems support, and services to over 45 Minnesota municipalities since 1972. Our mission is to facilitate and provide leading edge and adaptable technical solutions through the sharing of ideas, applications, systems, and resources in a member-driven consortium.

LOGIS currently has an excellent opportunity for a motivated Application Support Analyst to join its Utility Billing team. The Utility Billing Support team member will work closely with CIS Infinity software users to provide day-to-day application customer service across 20 unique consortium members.

Responsibilities:

User support tasks include, but are not limited to, training users on software functionality, developing and maintaining reports, troubleshooting user concerns, gathering customer/product information and determine the issue by analyzing the symptoms, research using available resources and act as liaison between customer and vendor support team. Application support will be provided by clearly communicating technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a self-motivator with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, detail oriented and possess good customer service skills.
  • Confidence to be a change agent that identifies solutions to work around open issues/problems that are under investigation or pending resolution and look for ways to improve support processes.
  • Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in business, IT, or related field.
  • 2+ years application support experience, software testing, and report writing or specific experience working with utility billing.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access and other MS Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of Crystal Reports. Microsoft SQL a plus.
