Application Support: Public Safety
LOGIS is a governmental organization providing business applications and managed services to government units. Our mission is to facilitate and provide leading edge and adaptable technical solutions to our users.
LOGIS is seeking a Support Analyst who will specialize in supporting Law Records Management (LRMS) software. The Support Analyst will provide support to the users of LOGIS applications on a daily basis. This assistance includes functioning as a source of information, providing guidance and instruction in the use of all aspects of the LOGIS TriTech Records Management and Field-Based Reporting System; and performing problem-solving tasks as required by the users. Support may be over the telephone, at a client site, within a user group meeting, or as part of LOGIS training. This position will work closely with public safety professionals, vendors and LOGIS support and development personnel.
Minimum qualifications are a BA or BS degree, preferably in Information Technology or related field (AA/Technical College with equivalent work experience acceptable), ability to work well with people, team player, and understanding of databases.
Preferred qualifications are experience working with the public safety community and familiarity with business practices of police and/or fire departments and experience working in an application support environment. Knowledge of the TriTech Public Safety applications is a plus.
Hiring range is $67,000 -$72,000 D.O.Q. Supervisor of Systems Group
LOGIS is a service provider of business applications and managed services for networks and data centers. Our mission is to facilitate and provide leading edge and adaptable technical solutions to our customers. We are currently seeking a Supervisor of the Systems Group to join our talented team of network professionals.The Supervisor of the Systems Group position is responsible for leading our Systems Analysts in the design, support, and management of the LOGIS systems and supporting infrastructure (SANs, load balancers, etc.) which support our hosted business applications and managed services.
The responsibilities of this position includes staff supervision, project management, design, implementations, upgrades, troubleshooting, documentation, management of the Windows/Linux servers, SQL databases, Citrix, VMWare, SharePoint, and Compellent SANs. Individual must perform root cause analysis and perform complex troubleshooting across all technologies.
Individuals must have strong documentation skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and provide excellent customer service.
4+ years related experience managing large networks supporting virtual environments utilizing Windows and Linux operating systems.
BS in IT or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experiences.
