Network and Systems Administrator

Position Summary:

The qualified candidate will be a positive team player dedicated to providing excellent customer service with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. This position is responsible for the administration, support, and troubleshooting of the LOGIS consortium systems and infrastructure.

This position will serve as second level service support and will support a variety of technologies including Cisco IP Telephony Applications, Window servers, desktops, network applications, VPNs, virtual servers and desktops.

Experience:

Qualified candidates will have 2 + years of related experience and BS in IT or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Local travel is required.

Network Architect/Infrastructure Supervisor

Position Summary:

LOGIS is a service provider of business applications and managed services for networks and data centers. Our mission is to facilitate and provide leading edge and adaptable technical solutions to our customers. To assist us with this mission, we are currently seeking a Network Architect / Infrastructure Group Supervisor to join our talented team of network professionals.

Responsibilities:

The qualified candidate will be responsible for supervision of the Infrastructure team, project management, network design, and management of the local and wide area networks of LOGIS and our customers. Individual must possess strong customer service, communication, analytical, and problem solving skills.

Job Requirements:

Duties include:

  • Supervise, train, and mentor Infrastructure staff
  • Design highly reliable, fault tolerate local and wide area networks for LOGIS and our customers
  • Manage and enhance border security (firewall, IDS/IPS)
  • Perform capacity and long-range planning
  • Design, manage, and enhance fiber optic networks
  • Perform high level network troubleshooting
  • Establish standards in hardware and software configurations
  • Plan, design, and prep bid specifications
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information or Business Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience designing, installing, and maintaining a large CISCO networks with distributed sites utilizing a wide area network.
  • Project management experience.
  • Supervision experience.
  • CISCO certifications CCNP and CCIE highly desirable.
