The Active Network, developers of our Class Park and Rec System, has assigned a new Account Manager to all Minnesota customers (including LOGIS). His name is Ken Fordham, and he has been an Account Manager with Active Network for eight years. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to bear on our Class needs. You can contact him regarding hardware, consumables, etc. He can also answer questions about Class software, modules, etc. However, if you intend to purchase an additional Class module, please contact LOGIS Class support because LOGIS Class users get a 25% discount on module licenses ordered through LOGIS. We are planning to offer a couple different Stonefield Query classes to our PIMS users in the next couple weeks. The first class will be a make-up class for anyone who missed the preliminary classes offered in November 2012. This class will also serve as a review for anyone who attended the introductory class but would like to attend a refresher course.
We will also offer an advanced class in April 2013 to those who are interested in learning a higher level of report creation functionality. Some of the items covered in the advanced class will be: Creating Formulas, Dynamic Expressions (color coded), Editing Templates (designing your report layout), Cross Tab Reports, Chart Reports, just to name a few.
It is highly recommended that the introductory class is taken prior to enrolling in the advanced class.
Each year the six assessing member cities are required to send a notice of property valuation and classification to the taxpayer on record for every property in their city. To date, three members have delivered their notices to the Post Office and the rest will be complete by the end of March.
You may not realize it, but it is not necessary to enter the year when entering dates in CIS Infinity windows/screens. Simply type in the day and month in the applicable date field, and then hit ‘Enter’ or ‘Tab’. The system will automatically populate the current year! Note: you will, however, need to enter the complete date if you are using a date other than one in the current year.
Save yourself another mouse click or two: when performing a Search for an account on the Customer Account Inquiry form, right click on the ‘Search’ button and ALL your search options appear for you. It’s a one-click stop!
