Under rare circumstances in RecTrac—LOGIS’ new Parks and Recreation Management System offering—the system may display a household balance that does not look correct. In these circumstances, users can run a utility called “Household Balance Recalc.” To access this utility, go to Utilities > System > Household/FM Utilities > Household Balance Recalc. On the screen that appears, select the desired household and make sure all the boxes are checked that correspond with the RecTrac modules your city uses. Lastly, click the Recalc button to recalculate the household balance.
The City of Chaska was in need of an all in one package to simplify and organize their Special Assessments for properties within the city. The Special Assessments module in the LOGIS Property Data System (PDS) met their requirements. Their current data was converted and loaded into the LOGIS PDS system. A few programming changes were required to accommodate the business practices for Chaska. Balancing the data was completed and the City of Chaska went live on LOGIS Special Assessments on January 12, 2015.
The ePermits site has enriched the process of purchasing a permit online since April 2003. Homeowners and contractors have acquired over 146,000 permits online to date, which means a significant savings of time and money for the customer and city staff.
In 2013, we completely redesigned the ePermits website, as well as the PIMS ePermit interface. This has cultivated a renewed interest from many PIMS cities. Numerous cities have requested a demonstration of the ePermit process as a means of gathering information and potentially adding to their daily business operations.
The website also offers an impressive search function which includes: the ability to view scheduled inspections, view inspection results, or simply view pertinent information regarding a permit. This information can be obtained 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.
For more information, or if your City would like to schedule a demonstration, please contact LOGIS.
