Advanced has released a new build for CIS Infinity, and LOGIS will begin testing 3.1.27. This testing will be done utilizing Windows 7, Windows 10, Office 2013, and Office 2016. LOGIS is hoping to have this testing done within a 60 day window.

The Annual Special Assessments (SA) User Group meeting was held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. This is a great opportunity for the SA users to come together to discuss changes they need to see in the system, changes made the past year and best practices.
One of the main topics this year was how to handle special assessments on tax forfeit properties. It was evident there is no clear-cut way to handle them as many of the members handle them in different ways. The main concern is to ensure the unpaid assessments show up on assessment searches and are collected once the property sells. Although there was no definitive process defined, members came away with some great ideas.
Previously, this interface only worked with locally hosted Exchange or Groupwise servers. If your city has started using Office365 for email and calendar management, LOGIS has tested and updated the PIMS Scheduling interface to interact with your Outlook calendar.
The PIMS Scheduling interface with Outlook allows users to see PIMS appointments in Outlook and Outlook appointments in PIMS. This can help to reduce confusion in the field and back in the office, as an inspector only has to reference one Calendar to see both schedules.
This is an optional interface, and the feature is available now. There is some set-up involved in order for this functionality to work properly. LOGIS will work with specific staff members at each city to ensure a successful transition.

RecTrac 3.1 allows you to set up questions that get answered under certain circumstances—usually during a purchase. Questions are often used to gather information. For example, you may need to know the T-shirt size of a registrant for a course. However, if the question is answered incorrectly (entering the wrong size in the T-shirt example), what can you do to correct the situation?
In these cases, RecTrac does allow you to change the answer to a question at a later time. To do this, you would use the following procedure:
Bring up the customer in Global Sales.
Go to the Purchase History Tab and select the desired transaction.
Click on the Change Question Answers button, which will cause the Questions window to appear.
Change the Question Answers as necessary.
Click on the Continue button in the Questions window.
