A new PDS release (2017.10.09.0) was rolled out to the LOGIS members on October 10, 2017. Included in this release was the much requested, “P&I report by PID”. This report will list the details of the assessment master (term, interest rate, and 1st year payable). The highly requested part is the amortization schedule for all parcels in the assessment master will now be listed, each one on their own page. This report can be customized for each member.
We are pleased to announce the City of Ramsey is now offering permits that require a plan review online via ePermits!
As of August 2017, Ramsey is “Live” with Electronic Plan Review (soft launch). Currently, Ramsey is offering Building Commercial and some Residential permits, Commercial Mechanical and Commercial Plumbing permits. The city is still accepting paper submissions, but will be requiring all submissions transition to electronic, beginning January 2018.
Documents and drawings specifically related to the project can be submitted electronically by the applicant. Once all uploaded files are reviewed for accuracy, the review process begins. Due to the nature of the electronic plan review software, all plans can be examined by multiple departments at the same time. This increases efficiency and precision throughout the project.
All correspondence with the applicant regarding the project is communicated via email.
More cities are realizing the value of electronic plan review and deciding to incorporate this solution to completely renovate the permit application and plan review process.
One of the new features available in the last RecTrac upgrade (version 3.1.07.00) is the ability to edit (change) Scheduled Report Events. Previously, if you had a scheduled report that needed to be changed in some way, the only thing you could do was delete the scheduled event and re-create it.
Now, there is a new button in Management > System Management > Misc Management > Scheduled Events Management screen called “Update Event Settings” (located at the lower-right of the screen). To change a reporting scheduled event, use the following procedure:
Select the desired event on the datagrid and click on the Update Event Settings button.
RecTrac will then display the parameters screen for the report. Make the desired changes to the parameter screens and click on the Process button to display the Report Options screen.
On the Report Options screen, make any desired changes and click on the Schedule button.
RecTrac will then display the Schedule Generator Screen. The original event details will appear here, but once again, you can make changes.
On the Schedule Generator screen, click on the Save button to save all the changes you have made to the event. If you no longer want to change the event, click on the Cancel button or the “X” button to delete all the changes you have made.
Note that the Update Event Settings button will only work with Scheduled Report events. It will not work with any other type of scheduled event.

The replacement of the current Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment solution is rapidly coming to an end. Currently fifteen out of the nineteen Utility Billing Members have had successful Go Lives with Invoice Cloud, and the City of Apple Valley will Go Live on Monday, October 16th, 2017.
The City of Lakeville has chosen a different vendor, and is planning to Go Live the beginning of November. Some of what LOGIS’ role is in the transitioning of the members to the new EBPP vendor(s) include configurations of databases, data conversion such as ACH from CIS to the EBPP vendor and coordinating with the City, and the vendor, the best options to fit Cities business needs.
Additional options some of our members have chosen to make available to their customers include IVR, pay by text, scheduled payments and the ability to pay by echeck.
