ReclineVSI, the developers of RecTrac, have a quarterly newsletter available on their website that contains a lot of good information about the product and how to best use it. It usually has a column from Giles Willey, the President of VSI. For the current edition of the newsletter, Giles reflects back on 2018 and looks forward to 2019.

Enhanced Audit Functionality for Public Safety Field-Based Reporting

Many ModulesCentral Square Technology has enhanced the audit functionality within the FBR (field-based reporting) product that our agencies utilize.  The Audit Log queue has been replaced with a new and improved Audit Log functionality. The system now enables designated users the ability to view all audit activity for a specific case or report. Additional transactions are now recorded in the audit log to track report related activities. These include everything from viewing or deleting a report to viewing, downloading or printing reports. LOGIS Public Safety staff is working with agency administrators to implement the new functionality to accommodate their respective business practices.

CIS Infinity New Build Release 3.1.29

CISInfinityAdvanced has released a new build for CIS Infinity that is currently being tested by LOGIS. Testing has been going great so far, no issues to report. Build 3.1.29 will be rolled out in 2019. Testing has been done utilizing Windows 10 and Office 2016.

If you would like to volunteer to test the new build in your CIS TEST database, testing documents can be found on the LOGIS portal. To locate the document on the portal go to shared documents under the Utility Billing link on the left. Click on Build Testing Checklist_2018, please notify UB support on what processes you will be testing and if any issues occur.
