RecTrac User Group Meeting Focuses on Payment Processor

Date Posted:

GroupLOGIS RecTrac members recently gathered for a user group meeting focusing on Card Connect—a credit card payment gateway that has some unique advantages in regards to compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS). The presentation was given by Dimitrios Hilton, one of LOGIS’ security specialists.

The main advantage of Card Connect is that it uses a “P2PE” (Point-to-Point Encryption) certified hardware/software solution that Card Connect calls the “Bolt” interface. In short, Bolt eliminates the need for an entire PC to be dedicated to credit card transaction processing. It also vastly reduces the amount of paperwork and resources necessary to become and remain PCI-DSS compliant.

If you have any questions about the Bolt interface, please contact LOGIS RecTrac support at rectrac@logis.org.
