“Webinar” Recordings Available to Class Users
A “webinar” is a class or seminar that takes place over the Internet using a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox. The Active Network, the company that develops the Class System, schedules webinars regularly on a variety of topics pertinent to Class. While these webinars can certainly be attended “live,” the Active Network also makes recordings of these available for viewing from its Customer Portal web site. The only down side is that you can’t ask questions with the recording.
Typically, the webinars are about an hour long, and contain both an audio and video component. (The video component is almost always a set of Power Point slides.) Currently available webinars include:
- Class Version 7.0 Content Tour
- Search Engine Optimization
- Email Essentials
- Using Twitter to Increase Awareness and Participation
- Facebook Tips and Tools
If you are interested in downloading a webinar or accessing the Active Network Customer Portal web site, please contact Paul Norton of LOGIS at firstname.lastname@example.org or 763-543-2633.
