When You Can’t Find a Client in Class
A problem that can crop up in Class is when you enter a client’s name in the Program Registration Screen and Class tells you that client does not exist in the database. However, you know that client has already been set up and should exist in the database. In these situations it is often the case that one of the Account Types (usually “Family”) in the Client Search Screen has been deselected. The solution is to click the Client Search button next to the Client Field on the Program Registration Screen. This will display the Client Search screen, where you can check on the “Search For” Account Types. Make sure all types are selected, and then use the Client Search Screen to find the account. Once you have selected an account from this screen, the Account Types searched for should default to all types again.
