LOGIS offers a complete range of network management services to our members, as members must subscribe to at least one LOGIS application.These services include planning, network design, installation, support and long-term management. This includes functions such as supporting physical and virtual server environments, server operating systems, email systems, databases and network infrastructure such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless LAN controllers and 802.11 devices.
LOGIS consults with you to design or upgrade your network to maximize efficiency and speed, with goals of reducing maintenance and long term costs.
We install network equipment according to your network specification and established industry standards.
Our staff is trained in the installation and support of the latest operating systems ranging from Windows to Linux. We assist organizations in the additions, upgrades or replacements of their network operating system environments.
Our staff can assist you in configuration and management of your virtual environments. We support the latest virtualization products of VMware and HyperV, maximizing your environment and investment.
We fully support your network environment, ranging from installation of applications, troubleshooting and resolving problems to establishing standards to meet your needs and monthly updates.
We maintain all aspects of your organization’s infrastructure, inclduing firewalls, VPNs, routing and switching. We assist you in interconnecting your facilities and linking your network to outside organizations.
Software Licensing and Maintenance Contracts
We assist our members in maintaining software licenses and maintenance contracts with vendors. We strive to help our members understand the licensing options and to reduce their effort on maintaining licensing and maintenance agreements.
We work with you to monitor your network closely. We utilize SNMP with products such as Nagios and CiscoWorks to automatically warn us of impending problems or faults. Our trained staff assists our members in the management of their printing, backups and antivirus software. This allows us and the local IT staff to take a more proactive approach to network management. Our goal is to help our members reach the highest level of uptime and system performance for their networks.
LOGIS maintains a CISSP on staff and we can assist you in all aspects of security, from network and physical assessments to guidance on achieving PCI and BCA compliance.
LOGIS invests in best of breed application software from national vendors such as Oracle, Sprypoint and CentralSquare. Costs for technology solutions and applications are shared among members. Our member support staff is based right here in Minnesota.
